Awards and Achievements

Geoffrey Vos Q.C. is head of Chambers at 3 Stone Buildings, Lincoln’s Inn, and Chairman of the Trustees of the Social Mobility Foundation. He is a Judge of the Courts of Appeal of Jersey and Guernsey, and sits as a Deputy High Court Judge in the Chancery Division, and as an arbitrator in commercial and reinsurance matters. He is a Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn and took silk in 1993.

Professional reputation

Geoffrey Vos QC was Chairman of the Bar Council of England and Wales for 2007, Vice-Chairman for 2006, and Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee of the Bar Council for 2004 and 2005. He was Chairman of the Chancery Bar Association from 1999 to 2001

Geoffrey Vos was awarded the Lawyer Magazine’s “Barrister of the Year” award in 2003, and Chambers’ Chancery Silk of the Year in 2005.
