Professional reputation

Chambers & Partners 2008 says: Andrew Child of 3 Stone Buildings “has really burst onto the traditional chancery scene” in recent years, both as an adviser and as a litigator. Fast becoming regarded as an expert on trust and estate related matters, he also takes on cases of a more commercial flavour.

Practice

Andrew has a chancery commercial litigation practice.

In the traditional chancery field, Andrew specialises in advisory and litigation work relating to trusts, estates and capital taxation.
He regularly advises and appears for trustees and / or beneficiaries in breach of trust claims which involve associated revenue and private international law issues.

Andrew also has a strong commercial practice in the areas of insurance, insolvency, commercial contracts and guarantees, directors’ duties and company and shareholder issues.
